GOLF TOPS TENNIS AS AUSSIES HEAD GREENSIDE IT is official! Despite reports of dwindling playing numbers across the board, golf is actually fast becoming Australia’s most popular pastime with a significant increase in latest participation figures. The figures, released as part of the Australian Sports Commission’s annual Exercise, Recreation and Sport Survey, rank golf as the most popular club-based activity for 2008, overtaking tennis in top spot following a substantial total participation increase.

BONNIE, BONNIE SCOTT FINDS ROMANCE QUEENSLAND star Adam Scott received a boost on the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond when Serbian tennis beauty Ana Ivanovic turned up to watch him contest the Barclays Scottish Open.
Scott was spotted at Wimbledon watching Ivanovic compete and their relationship was confirmed when she travelled north to Scotland to support her Queensland-born boyfriend. Scott has had a hectic time off the golf course since splitting up with his long-term girlfriend and that has been reflected in his golf.
