Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge is pleased to confirm Australian and New Zealand venues to host Regional Final for the inaugural challenge. Regional Finals will be hosted on Sunday’s throughout September.
Since the launch of the Golfer Pacific Best Ball in April, 120 golf clubs have confirmed their hosting of qualifying events. Clubs are still signing up and have until 30 August to schedule their event. By the time the club events conclude close to 10,000 golfers will have contested the inaugural Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge.
Winners of the club events have qualified for the regional finals where no additional fee is payable. A fantastic range of TaylorMade Adidas prizes will be up for grabs and the Regional Finals will determine the 30 pairs who will go on to contest the National Final on Queensland’s Gold Coast from 25 to 30 October 2010. The National Final will be played over four rounds at premier Gold Coast golf resorts. The National Final package which also includes 6 nights accommodation at Radisson Resort, welcome and gala presentation dinners, player gift pack and more is valued at $1,700 per person.

REGIONAL FINAL QUALIFIERS
In a bid to provide greater access and flexibility, Club Event winners will be able to participate at the Regional Final venue of their choice at no cost. Club Event winners have until 3 September 2010 to nominate the Regional Final they will be contesting. What if you have won your club event, but are unable to attend because of travelling time and cost?
Given the enormous geographic spread of clubs involved in hosting the Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge, the task of assigning Regional Final venues has been a difficult one. We have endeavoured to provide reasonable access to a Regional Final for the majority of club event winners. We acknowledge that even if you qualified through your club event, it may not be practicable for you to participate at one of the scheduled Regional Finals.
With this in mind we are offering the following options to Club Event winners who do not have a Regional Final scheduled within 150km of the club where they qualified.
1. Receive 1 dozen TaylorMade Penta TP valued at $75 per player OR
2. Gain automatic entry to the National Final to be hosted on the Gold Coast from 25 to 31 October 2010 at 50% of the event cost. If you elect this option you will be required to pay $850 per player (normal cost $1700 per person). See below for the National Final itinerary and inclusions. This option is only available if both team members are in agreement. In saying this, under the Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge rules, you are permitted to substitute one player. Payment is required by 3 October 2010.
