Great start for Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge
Bundaberg Golf Club on Queensland’s central coast hosted the first ever Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge event on the ANZAC day holiday. The club had anticipated 25 teams to contest the event and with 92 players competing this was an emphatic endorsement for the Golfer Pacific Best Ball Challenge.
Bundaberg’ s club captain Geoff Loveday was in high praise of the event.
“The Golfer Pacific Best Ball has proven to be much more popular than similar events we have hosted. Members applauded the scoring integrity afforded through the Best Ball format and the $1500 in Taylor Made sponsored product made for a sensational prize table.
"Even though we originally advised 50 players, Golfer Pacific was quick to respond with the extra Taylor Made golf balls and additional prizes offered for 90 plus players. The event promotions pack supplied by Golfer Pacific was first class and made the event an easy sell. We now have 2 teams qualified for the regional finals and wish them every success.”
Bundaberg Golf Club also now has 92 tickets, one per player, in the $325,000 major prize draw which includes a Mitsubishi Lancer, E-Z-GO golf cart, overseas holidays to NZ, Fiji and Bali as well as MGI buggies, SureShot GPS units, 100 resort golf holidays and 3000 consolation prizes.
